Oberg all fiberglass Comet in very good condition. It has side tanks and two bailers. Rudder has an aluminum tiller with adjustable tiller extension. Relitively new set of Beaton Sails, sail ties and an older spare set of Harsticks. There is a Sailors Tailor top cover and a very old full cover. The mast is a painted, fully rigged Proctor with an anodized boom with a Whisker Poll Launcher(includes 2 regular whisker polls as well). There is an additional aluminum Proctor mast that is also fully rigged. All working lines have been replaced within the past 4 years. Includes a 4 point lifting rig. ATrailer is included that is in road worthy shape, has LED tail lights and a spare tire already mounted on a rim. Located in South Jersey. Asking $2,200.

Built 1949 by the Horner brothers. Excellent condition. Boat has painted deck. The varnished hull is beautifull. There are 3 set of sails, 2 rudders and both an aluminum and bronze centerboard. The original spruce mast has been sanded and varnished (May 2009). Rigging was inspected and worn stays replaced by Beaton boatyard in NJ (summer 2008). A brand new boat cover with class number and insignia was purchased from Sailors Tailor (fall 2008). The 19 ft trailor is in almost new condition including brand new spare tire. Boat includes many papers and pictures chronologing its history and previous owners. Copies of the original measurement certificate dated June 8, 1949 is included. Will deliver within 300 miles of northern NJ for gas cost. Boat is in Montclair NJ. $2600

Great shape, no paint, just varnish, race ready, proctor mast, boom, rigging. Aluminum keel, new keel box, flotation bladders, good sails (Beaton), also have bronze keel,spruce mast, boom, trailer in great shape.

Beautiful wooden Comet named "Shearwater" built by Oxford Boatyards in Oxford Maryland around 1939. It it in very good shape and is ready to sail. It has a bronze centerboard and comes with sails in very good condition, oars, and lifejackets. $2,000. It has an untitled trailer with new tires in 2008. Metropolitan DC/Alexandria VA area.
